What is Paint Protection?

Paint Protection products are applied to help protect the vehicle's paint from external conditions such as stone chips, weather, oxidization, bird droppings, tree sap, and more. There are a few forms of paint protection as application and usage is dependent on the purpose required by the vehicle's owner.  Some of these forms include Paint Protection Film (Clear Bra/PPF), Ceramic Coatings, and Graphene Coatings.

*Disclaimer: All Clear Bra/Paint Protection Film (PPF) installations MUST be done at our partnered indoor shop facility. Contact us for more details.

Ceramic Coating

Industry-grade ceramic coating is a chemical polymer solution that is applied to the exterior of a vehicle to protect it from external paint damage. Typically applied by hand, it blends with the paint of your car and creates an additional hydrophobic layer of protection.  Due to this chemical bonding and creation of a new layer, the car’s factory paint job remains untouched.

While many car enthusiasts and even detailers believe it to be an alternative to clear bra (paint protection film), ceramic coating, in reality, is an alternative to waxing. The main idea is to prevent dirt, grime, and stain marks from appearing on the paint job and ruining the clear coat. Ceramic coating, also sometimes called nano-ceramic coating, is a permanent or semi-permanent solution to your worries depending upon the coating and type of polymer used. Due to its chemically intrinsic properties, it does not break down in normal atmospheric conditions like rain or summer.

Graphene Coating

Graphene is said to be the “miracle material” due to an abundance of beneficial properties. Even in its simplest form, a thin one atom thick substance is the lightest, strongest and thinnest material known to man. Being a carbon-based material coupled with the presence of oxygen functionalities, graphene oxide can be dispersed in organic solvents, water and polymer matrixes. This compatibility as a filler with polymer coatings is crucial as it allows our graphene coatings to benefit from its properties.

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Paint Protection Film (PPF), also known as clear bra, is the best way to protect your vehicle’s paint from road debris and prevent rock chips. Full front coverage is our most popular option, but it’s very common to add film in high wear areas like rocker panels, headlights, pillars and rear bumper. Many of our clients also decide on full car coverage for complete protection.

At Mobile Detailing Solutions, we provide tailored installation services for all kinds of vehicles, utilizing quality paint protection film. Using the same care and attention to detail as with our premium car detailing services, we are able to provide clients with the highest quality in fit and finish. Whether you are looking for the typical front end coverage, entire car wrapping or custom installs, like headlights,  rockers or rear bumpers, we have you covered.  We primarily use Xpel PPF; however, we may also use Suntek, 3M Scotchguard, Verleno, or SolarGard.

*Disclaimer: All PPF installations MUST be done at our indoor partnered shop facility. Contact us for more details.
